Imeng's Automobile Reviews - The old Accord is turning to the 10th generation as 2016 models, a medium-size car with ample performance and very acceptable, elegant look. On 2016 redesigns, Honda is repacking the sedan and coupe models, while continues offering this-year Accord Hybrid. Received significant updates and refinements, Honda Accord has a new body look on both front and rear parts; new LED fog lights and reshaped LED head lights that come standards in all versions (except the LX-S Coupe and LX Sedan), and renewed Accord-tuned rear spoiler. The on-the-way 2016 Honda Accord will stay pally on budget and keep alive as one of the American top-selling midsize car.

2016 Accord Sedan

2016 honda accord coupe vs 2015

A 5-cargo Accord sedan has for so long become undeniable when it goes to a family sedan. It isn’t so luxurious inside and not so pretty outside, yet reasonable price with proven quality speaks more than anything. Well, there, Sonata, Chrysler 200 and Fusion are really pointed to this. The new sedan-themed Accord offers lots of stirring stuff; a large number of current, advanced Honda’s driver’s assists put as base easements such like traction stability control to make your Accord consistently runs in the best balance, anti-lock braking instrument for better wheel-stop command, and many more including a rear-vision parking assist, while the top trim Sedan Touring features parking sensors and an exclusive rain-sensing windshield wipers. Thoughtfully, Honda doesn’t include some premium security assists like followed-up crash warning system and lane departure control.

EPA’s ratings a bit improved, estimated at 37 mpg/highway and 27 mpg/city (currently 36 mpg/hwy) – that’s not shocking, tough fairly pleasing. A six-speed manual available on the first three versions, an EX-L only sport-mode CVT and a Touring’ sport-mode six-speed automatic are all returned to 2016 groups. A wide range of exterior and interior colors should be another pleasure. Below is the trims and MSRP list:

  1.     Accord Sedan LX (16-inch wheels; 6-speed manual; 181 lb-ft, 187-hp Inline four-cylinder engine) : $22,105
  2. Accord Sedan Sport (19-inch wheels; 6-speed manual; 181 lb-ft, 187-hp Inline four-cylinder engine) : $24,165
  3. Accord Sedan EX (17-inch wheels; 6-speed manual; 181 lb-ft, 187-hp Inline four-cylinder engine) : $25,480
  4. Accord Sedan EX-L (17-inch wheels; sport-mode CVT; 181 lb-ft, 187-hp Inline four-cylinder engine) : $28,570
  5. Accord Sedan EX-L V6 (17-inch wheels; sport-mode 6-speed automatic; 252 lb-ft, 278-hp V6 engine) : $30,645
  6. Accord Sedan Touring (19-inch wheels; sport-mode 6-speed automatic; 252 lb-ft, 278-hp V6 engine) : $34,580

2016 Accord Coupe

2016 honda accord coupe inside

The new coupe addicts,  Accords got the same upgrades and refinements. Honda has edited its curves a little bit, refreshed the chief elements inside and out. The Accord Coupe is indeed only a 2-door intermediate family carrier, but as the sedan version serves, the Coupe is also extensive to load 5 passengers including a driver. The materials used shared abundantly with its 4-door ones. Body concept isn’t too glamorous, nor vicious, too. It keeps giving an impression of a reliable, efficient family transportation that’s always ready to take owners anywhere. Somehow the coupe can’t consume the fuel more efficiently than the sedan, it’s valued thereabout 35 mpg on highway and 26 mpg in the city roads (average from all trims). Despite the coupe-inspired Accord counts on the uniform powertrains, the engine generates leastwise 2-horsepower output (185). Buyers won’t be offered the smallest 16″ wheels; instead, Honda replaced them with 18″ units.

For the first time, Accord Coupe is expanded to 5 trim levels by involving a Touring version. Standard security features and personal features are all everything you see on the four-door Accord. Transmissions haven’t varied yet, with the 3 alternatives available there is nothing to look for. These are the five, renewed Accord Coupe for 2016 models:

  1. Accord Coupe LX-S (17-inch wheels; 6-speed manual; 181 lb-ft, 185-hp Inline four-cylinder engine) : $22,105
  2.  Accord Coupe EX (18-inch wheels; 6-speed manual; 181 lb-ft, 185-hp Inline four-cylinder engine) : $25,480
  3. Accord Coupe EX-L (18-inch wheels; sport-mode CVT; 181 lb-ft, 185-hp Inline four-cylinder engine) : $28,570
  4. Accord Coupe EX-L V6 (18-inch wheels; 6-speed manual; 252 lb-ft, 278-hp V6 engine) : $30,645
  5. Accord Coupe Touring (19-inch wheels; sport-mode 6-speed automatic; 252 lb-ft, 278-hp V6 engine) : $34,580

2016 Accord Hybrid

2016 honda accord hybrid gas mileage

Accord Hybrids don’t gain anything in this year redesigns. It goes on impressing customers over preferable fuel consumption. Currently, the Hybrid earned 45 mpg/highway and 50 mpg/city. The vehicle brought the sedan unibody with four-way entrance. Available in standard Hybrid, Hybrid EX-L and Hybrid Touring, V6 isn’t offered but that 122 lb-ft, 141-hp 4 Cylinder matched the only E-CVT – prices started from $29,000 or so. All Accords are guided by the two front wheels. Just let the Plug-in go!
